The Order is comprised of beings that posses psionic abilities. One joining The Order must follow a strict rule of living and moral standards. Those who turn away are either expelled never to practice their powers again, or are executed as traitors. It is not unheard of to see those who are not trained by The Order around with psionic abilities. Those that do and are found are tested to see whether they are worthy and are trainable. Those who do not fit this criteria are handled. The Order’s sworn enemy are the Ronin.

The Ronin came about during the great war. Both sides of the war were asking for support from The Order. Many were torn on who to support, but the Headmaster of The Order made it clear that no one was to interfere in diplomatic missions as the will of Fate must be played out.

Against the Headmaster’s will, many joined the cause on one side or another. This infuriated the Headmaster, but he remained calm until the victor of the war arose. The Headmaster then aided Central in keeping peace, while controlling the known galaxy once again. The betrayers of The Order were hunted down an exterminated. Feeling abandoned by their Headmaster, they took on a new title as Ronin. Under this title, the Ronin chose to follow their own path, some good, some bad, and some a bit of both. All that is known is that there is bad blood between both sides and it doesn’t look to close to being resolved.
